Gun range allows you to shoot your opponent...and them to shoot back.

An Orlando, Florida shooting range called "Combat City" has introduced a new way to practice firing your own gun....at other people. It also allows others to shoot you.

This is something I would definitely be interested in doing.

Have actually wondered for quite
some time why no one has come
up with this idea.
Something I have dreamed of as
well.
Sure, we have that paint crap.
And, that ain't bad, I guess, but
have never tried it.

There was an episode on the X-Files
where some Gaming company had
configged a range of sorts in what
looked like a small airplane hangar
where 3-D creations attacked the
player (who was actually in the hangar).
I though, "that's the cat's ass!"
And, indeed it is!

But, this config ain't bad!

Let the blood letting begin!

17 yrs old then in the early 70's; near Watkins Glen and my dad (WW2 vet) was very close to shooting back at the idiots.
A bunch of clowns were in the parking lot trying to lob some slugs at 3 doe running in front of us. They were landing in front of us in the grass, and the small trees above our heads 
Not even close enough for us, to try to shoot at them. They took off in their car and truck, when they saw us running towards them and yelling.

I used to work with a guy back in the early 1990's who grew up in Schoharie County South of Albany.  He used to say the farmers down there would paint "COW" in whitewash on their cows during hunting season so the idiots from NYC who came up to hunt wouldn't shoot them.   Don't know if it's true - but it was funny.

    Back in my earlier years I went to The Tier 23 years in a row, Moved to The
    Tug and found no need to go. I was down in the area when the Hunter was
    shot out of his treestand dressed in orange. Had slugs land within a foot of
    me and hear them breaking branches over head. Vehicles, dogs, goats,cows
    people shot, you name it and I believe I have seen it. Even people screwing
    in the bushes. Now they have opened the area to rifles. The incompanant
    setting rules for the incompanant.
