I am in need of a new roof. I know there are at least 3 layers on it has many bad spots. I have never hired a roofer can anyone give me an hint on a local roofer.

I had mine done last sept. I was amazed at the cost difference from one contractor the other. Make sure you check their references. I looked in yellow pages. Good luck.

Be careful and talk to someone that you know has hired a roofer if possible. Lot of fly by night/storm chasers out there who'll use low budget shingles, no ice & water barrier in valleys, reuse old drip edge, etc.
Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Call Griffin Roofing, or Watn Bldrs and Whites for some names to try. Stan Tibbles is OK too.

 I can tell you from experience the one's not to do your roof. They have the largest ad in the yellow pages. Beware!
