Okay, HRPS is the Human Resources Planning Society, and I'm guessing you're not talking about a support group for them.

I'm going to guess that you're talking about Herpes.  I don't know of any support groups for that particular illness, but I bet Planned Parenthood would have the info if there was one available. 788-8065

If what you're looking for is group support, try the Internet.  There are a ton of sites. I couldn't find any regional support groups that meet in person in this area, however there are several on line groups...some close to Jefferson County.  (Google is your friend).

If you're looking to date an understanding person "in the same boat" try:

I think theres more who have it then you know. People just arent as open about it. I know some churches have groups for hiv and aids you may want to start by calling some of those. Maybe its for all veneral diseases. Just dont get discouraged just because you have it doesnt mean you wont find someone. Theres someone out there for everyone. I have a friend who has it for approximatly 10 yrs now She lives a normal life with a husband and children. Her Husband never got it.

I'm setting the over/under at 66% that contributors/visitors to this board have a clue as to what you're referring to.  Probably not the right forum or category either.

Are you asking if anyone here has the HIV?

Cute BF. Even I know you're smarter than that!  I believe the "umbrella" category is STD's. (note: not the decal Kyle Petty used to have on his race cars). However this post does bring back to mind a situation that happened a few years back at the Stables.

Here's an idea; take your message and post it in Chicago as is. There's bound to be some dumbasses who'll think your inquiring about George Halas. At least you'd have someone to chat with.

Start yet another thread about your {apparently} not-very-catchy topic and you'll be looking for another place to seek empathy.   Wink

I'm betting that there are plenty of people around here with HSV:

An estimated 25 percent of American adults have genital herpes.

Up to 60% of people who have genital HSV show no signs of the disease and are unaware that they are infected, but are capable of transmitting the virus to others (asymptomatic viral shedding).

Despite no formal regional sites that I know of, this is a pretty good forum for people who have herpes.

You can:

*Post your own topics, ask questions, give advice and communicate privately with other members
*Chat with over 20,000 people who are also affected by herpes (from all over the world)
*Browse over 140,000 posts in more than 30 herpes specific topic forums
*Search new and old posts, personalize your profile and access many other special features
*Talk to other members in the live chat room

hey gable...it's you are or you're not your...i'm sure it was just a typo.  'gunslinger', what an appropriate name...judge, jury and executioner...glad you didn't grow up in nazi germany.

You overuse the ellipsis.
Capitalize the 'h' in "Hey". It's the first word in the sentence.
Capitalize the 'g' in "Gable".  It's the name format chosen by the user. "gunslinger" was appropriate for me.
The 'i' in "I'm" needed to be capitalized.
Finally, you should have capitalized both the 'n' and the 'g' in "Nazi Germany".
I'm sure it was just because you're a lazy typist.

You have no clue where or when I grew up.
As for my name and personality, I'm a fairly tolerant intolerant bastard.
You have started at least three threads all about the same damned thing.
You want to try to push the conversation, try adding a post with merit to the existing thread.
HMPITA folk don't stay long in these here parts.
